DESIRE

Since September 2024, the Pays de la Loire Regional Federation has been coordinating the DESIRE (Digital Education Skills In Rural Europe) project on the theme of digital inclusion in rural areas. The project aims to improve digital inclusion practices in rural areas by identifying, analyzing, and disseminating effective strategies for digital education. Through collaboration among educational institutions and local stakeholders, it seeks to provide innovative tools and resources that address the specific needs of rural communities.

  • Contribute to enhancing digital inclusion in rural areas by identifying and analyzing existing learning practices and tools.
  • Select and disseminate best practices in digital education to support adult trainers working in rural territories.
  • Develop, test, and publish an online toolkit that offers practical guidance for adult digital education, including learning objectives, target groups, and pedagogical steps.
  • Promote collaboration between public and private organizations to foster the exchange of successful digital education strategies in rural areas.
